WINTER WHITE

Let's be be real for moment, it ain't legs out weather right now in the UK. You won't even catch me up in the clurrrb without a pair of 60 deniers on. Brave against the cold, i am not, but I am also not a complete psychopath that would put a pair of black tights with a white two-piece that was made for the summer. Time to fess up, a fashion blogger i am not, I'm just a mere gal with a love of clothes who occasionally likes to blog about it, who also may get side-tracked with things like real life.
When i agreed to pop this sweet little set upon my blog it was way back when the sun actually came out. A little out of time this may be, also because I don't think this is even in stock anymore, HOWEVER, it's from an up and coming company called luxemme, over here, who have many, many other lovely things that combine manchester cool with paris chic.

The two-piece itself has little eyelet detailing on the top half, along with tie up sides and scallop cutting around the edge. The material is just right, and I mean this as you have to be careful with white, too thick and well, not ideal for summer. Too thin and everyone knows what colour you knickers are wearing. I paired it with ankle boots and fuex suede jacket, I felt too exposed without it. But also because it felt a little too girlie on it's own.

COLONEL MUSTARD

I am fully embracing the seventies vibes going on in the high street lately, as you can see. I've never had quite so many compliments on a jacket, as I have on this missguided beauty! I sized down for this, and it fits perfectly. Being short, the cropped arms are a dreaaaam. I splurged on the jumper and these boots from ASOS last pay day, and boy, have they served me well. I adore the bright colours of the jumper, it's something my wardrobe has been severely lacking lately, and although we are technically coming into summer now, who are we kidding, it's still fairly chilly in cheery ol' England, so yes.. colours for summer dreams.. knits for reality.

I have no idea what's going on with blogger lately, but my images just look awful after uploading them, so I apologise for the quality :/

SHE'S A WATERFALL

Dress - Missguided
Hat - Topshop (similar)
Boots - ASOS
Coat - Topshop (old)

Just a quick one today, as most the photo's I took for this were turning out blurred and out of focus, so I'll keep it short.
This is my latest go-to dress. If I'm going out and cannot be bothered to style a new outfit, I've literally just been throwing this paisley shirt-dress on. It's very loose fitting, It just feels like a super oversized mens shirt, I love it.
On this occasion I threw on my fave coat, this mint green number I bought from Topshop about two years ago, it made me feel slightly less lazy.

IT'S SO FLUFFY I'M GONNA DIE | OOTD

Kimono (topshop)
Cropped Shirt (Missguided)
Trousers (ASOS)
Fluffy Bag (River Island)
Shoes (topshop)
Hat (River Island/asos - similar, kind of (not really))

So very sorry about being back to taking my outfit posts inside, this is due to a mix of bad weather and my go-to photographer is on holiday and it's waaaay easier to do it myself inside (even if the quality of these images are well, crap)  I've spoilt myself last payday, and as a holiday to mexico is fast approaching, it's something I'm almost regretting, however, look how great all these things look!!
I've wanted a feather bag for so so long, and everytime (EV.ER.Y.TIME) I see one I like, I never have the money to buy and then it's sold out by the time I have. So, I indulged on this coral babe. It looks very perfect, but it's even smaller than it looks :(
I've been wearing this kimono loads lately, probably because it's so versatile, but mostly because I feel like an Olsen twin wearing it. I've had to talk myself out of taking it on holiday with me, sob.
I also nabbed this hat in the Asos sale for £13, It fits my childishly small head just fine, it truly is the hat of dreams.

COACHELLA SHMOACHELLA // OOTD

(hat - asos. cami - topshop. lace shorts - topshop. jacket - river island. boots - missguided. necklace - river island)

If I had either a magic lamp that contained a genie to grant my wildest wishes, or even just a spare couple of grand, I would be in California this weekend (or even next, I'm not picky) to attend Coachella music festival. But since I don't have either of those things, I've had to make do with channelling my inner festi-queen spirit through my clothes and make do with spotify to fulfil my musical needs.

This is definitely something I would take with me to a festival this summer, although I'll probably have to trade these boots for a pair of wellies instead. The shorts were something I found last summer in Topshop, and haven't even worn since! (no judgement here please, we ALLLL do this)
I picked up the necklace yesterday, it was a bit of an impulse buy, but thought it would jazz up some of my day-time, summer outfits - and who can say no to daisies, really?

I definitely think I'll be doing a festival special on this blog - outfits, essentials, ect. But I'll wait until June time (just before I head off to Glastonbury) so watch this space...

Which festivals (if any) are you attending this year? or which would be your dream to go to? let me know in comments :)

LAZY SUNDAY.

(Shirt - Topshop, White top - Topshop, Jeans - Topshop, Shoes - ASOS, Watch - Vivienne Westwood)

Good evening everyone!
This is a little late today, it's a sunday and my saturday nights are my everything, so I usually write off doing anything until atleast 4pm on a Sunday. I'm currently writing this as I'm watching the Red Carpet for the Oscars, I'll be posting my favourite outfits tomorrow (which is why I had to get this out of the way with tonight!)

OUTFIT
As the title states, today has been very lazy. Make-up in minimal and I haven't even touched my hair since I jumped out the shower.
I bought the checked shirt late last year, it's gorgeous. I'm not sure these photos do it justice, it's such a lovely material, like a silk. It has a really great quality to it. I usually wear it as a button up shirt, but I got this scalloped, burnt out daisy print top last week from Topshop. It works underneath the shirt, not only because the colours go so well, but the materials of them both are so different.
I just opted for skinny jeans to go with this, they're my comfiest pair of jeans and I couldn't bare to wear anything less cosy today (hangover hell)

Hope everyone has had a lovely week,
and none of you are suffering as much as I have been today.

WASTING LIGHT.

top - foo fighters mercy, treggings - topshop, boots - new look, watch - vivienne westwood.

Afternoon guys! Just a quick, simple post today to keep you updated. I'm venturing down to London today for the NME awards, and this is what I'm wearing today. Those gingham treggings making an appearance again, I can't seem to be able to take them off. Keeping it really casual with this Foo Fighters top I bought a couple of years ago, it seemed fitting to wear today, rock n roll and all that. I've only included a couple of photos, and avoided showing you too much face, since I know I'll be getting dressed up later, I'm keeping my skin clear in the day time.
I suffer with awful skin, despite being in my 20s, so anytime I get to keep it away from make-up I take.
I'll be posting about my adventures when I get home tomorrow, but for now, that is all :)

What plans do you have this week?

BOW DOWN

Happy Monday everyone! Today I'm feeling slightly more down than usual on a monday, but only because last night I went to see the angel that is Beyonce. I've definitely got a big case of the post-Bey blues, she was incredible! I've put together a little post of my outfit, and also a little photo diary to go along with it. I've tried to mix them together, but I'm not sure if it would have been better to put all the outfits photos together first (suggestions for next time?)

OUTFIT
(Dress - Prettylittlething.co.uk, Boots - New Look, Jacket - Topshop, Bag - ASOS, Bow - official Beyonce merch)
With this, I played with black & pink, a lot like Bey's album cover. I never usually get so dressed up when I go to gigs and stuff, but it's BEYONCE so I felt like I should just make an effort. I've had the dress about a month, and only wore it once, but I adore it, the colour, the shape, THE POCKETS. I paired it with these chelsea boots from New Look, which don't look OTT, but they definitely give me a lot of height so I can see a little better. Again, I took my faux leather biker jacket with me, because it's easy to wrap around my waist.
Look how cute the headband is?! it was a hefty £15, but me and all five of my friends bought one and they're so cute. They were actually really handy as not that many people bought them so we could easily find one another in the crowd.
I'm actually really happy with this outfit choice, a lot of the girls last night were dressed up and looked gorgeous.

BEYONCE
This is the third time I've seen Bey, and it was definitely my favourite of them all. She played ALOT of songs from her new album, which I haven't been able to turn off since she unexpectedly dropped in December. She had two stages, and we were pretty close to the second one, so whenever she jumped on there we got a wonderful view. She had SO MANY outfit changes, but carries it off really well, you never felt like you were waiting that long for her. As expected her voice is incredible, and the show was really well put together. I saw the MRS Carter tour last year, and she's made some tweaks in it since then, but it's definitely for the better. The only thing I'd change is how she ends the show. She sings Halo (beautifully) then proceeds to thank her all female dancers, all female band, and crew and then leaves. I know that thank you's to everyone else behind the show are important, but if we could've got one more song for us to leave with, it would have been PERFECT.
One thing I love about Beyonce, is the all female band she has, it definitely boosts my respect for female artists when I see they are actively finding other female artists to collaborate with. Beyonce's tickets were £68 in total, and I'd happily pay it to go and see her again, she is most definitely worth every penny. Flawless.

Are you much of a fan of Beyonce? or do you have another idol you're dying to see live?
